Mesozoic is a fantasy and semi-literate RP, but do not fret if you're new to RP! We're more than happy to teaching new RPers at a comfortable pace As a staff, we put our hard work and best wishes for the community, and continue to improve it for it's members. In all, Mesozoic Staff makes it it's goal to make this experience comfortable and it's best for you.
We allow our members to RP all modern types canines (Wolf, Dire Wolf, African Wild Dogs, Coyotes, Dingos, Maned Wolf, and Dholes) and also popular extinct animals like Smilodons, Dinosaurs, and click here for more! The best part is that you can make as many accounts as you can handle! Hope to see you around!
In return of our promise, we expect you to hold your end of the deal by following and respecting our guidelines. We also ask for your participation and activity within the community, as we'd hate for Mesozoic to die. If you cannot be active, we request for you to make an EFA (excuse for absence) so we can expect you to return when you can.
Lastly, Mesozoic was produced by Tascalusa and Kamaji, and the idea is original and strictly their own. If you steal content, we will find out about it and will take action as copyright infringement is breaking the law.

Our Plot
"The truth is.."
It seems like it was only yesterday, but with time on a stand-still, centuries have been stolen from us without our knowing or consent. Life as it once was is now only a dream; it was back when our god, Castor, and the mortals thrived together in balance and harmony - the aura from the inhabitants only flourished the world, and was so great that it withered any evil from our world. The era of peace survived for several decades, but as the generations dwelled and vanished on the soil, something
took a shift for the worst. While some remained pure and faithful to their creator, others didn't see such beauty and the gifts bestowed from Castor. Envy seeped into their hearts, and they commanded more from him, and when such wasn't received, a war amongst the god and earthlings was declared.
"You don't know.."
The lifelong harmony shattered for good - no soul was safe. Both the guilty and innocent perished whether they fought against Castor or not. It was believed that the god himself had also grown dark in his reign. A theory arised that he spread this seed of darkness into the mortals as a plot, or perhaps revenge, as he envied the mortal's hope when they had nothing left to live for. Castor only sought to destroy it, but four figures, all very different in species and backgrounds, had stood out through the mass majority and defended the mortals from eternal damnation: Sorano, Amatia, Gira, and Varoon. It wasn't long until the names engraved in history, as well as the hearts and brains of the mortals. However, Sorano, Amatia, Gira, and Varoon were not strong enough to defeat Castor, and as a punishment towards them as well as world itself, he traveled through Earth's history, breaking it apart bit by bit, and created his own playground: The Underworld.
"..What is going to happen tomorrow..."
The Underworld is a replica of the world's many catastrophes throughout history - past, present, and also the future. This new world would be a prison to those living in it as time is frozen; we're left to relive hell over and over again, and also serve our punishment by waiting for Castor's own twist to the everyday cycle by creating his own mayhem and destruction to the children of Underworld. Vowing to protect their followers, Sorano and his fellow companions stood their ground against the God anyways and fought for their freedom. Despite their effort, the Castor had already won the war, these four are now referred to as the 'Guardians' in respect and honor for their service in fighting Castor in efforts to save us. Before they passed onto the other side, a solid oath was pronounced by Sorano, Amatia, Gira, and Varoon: "Despite the darkness in our world, we will guard these creatures with our lives. We will guide, birth, and reward them for their loyalty and strength. Never again shall darkness descend so harshly as it once did, and if so, nobody will suffer alone without our protection. Seek peace, love, and prosper, my friends."
"Life is a crazy ride.."
With splitting realms of Earth's lowest points of time, one can only reach a new land through portals located in sacred areas of the island. As much as it is dangerous, the world can still be beautiful and exotic. The Guardians watch over the lands from the sky, but nobody is truly safe as Castor continues to find new ways to bring hell to the living - one of them being the return of the Ice Age, as well as the world's oldest of creatures: dinosaurs. Castor will do what he must to reach his goal of bringing misery to the world. Guardians can only assist so much at one time, so it's up to us now. Mortals. Do you have what it takes to survive environments haunted by its own creator? Would you be willing to take charge of your world, make it your own, protect your kind, and fight against darkness? Prove it to yourself and the Guardians.

Antiqua Sentinels: The Antiqua Sentinels, or Ancient Soldiers (translated) is not a pack; it is a family; a crowd of canines united that have solemnly sworn to defend it's soil as well as one another for centuries and generations. Our site of residence is located in the valley of Terra Ante Tempus - you guessed it: The Land Before Time. We do not dominate any land, but the Antiqua Sentinels do share it with it's other prehistoric creatures. Terra Ante Tempus is the heartland that drove life to it is today, and in honor, we devote our lives in reserving it no matter the costs. It was our blood that was first spilled onto the soil, our names engraved in history, and our souls to feel the pain of the unforgiving world.
